University council

Tasks of the University Council

  1. Opinion on the draft strategy of the university;
  2. Issuing an opinion on the draft statute;
  3. Monitoring the financial management of the university;
  4. Monitoring the management of the university;
  5. Identifying candidates for rector, after the senate's opinion;
  6. Giving an opinion on the report on the implementation of the university's strategy;
  7. performing other tasks specified in the statute.

As part of monitoring financial management the council universities:

  1. Reviews the material and financial plan;
  2. Approves the report on the implementation of the material and financial plan;
  3. Approves the financial report.

The term of office of the university council is stipulated for 4 years, but according to the transitional provisions, the term of office of the first university council was shorter - from June 2019 to the end of 2020.
