On September 24, the Consul General of Georgia, Mr. Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, visited the office of the Rector of the University of Agriculture in Krakow, Dr. Sylwester Tabor, Prof. URK.

The meeting was also attended by the Vice-Rector for Cooperation, Prof. Andrzej Sechman, PhD. The conversation was an opportunity to emphasize the importance of academic and scientific cooperation, as well as to discuss opportunities for developing cooperation with Georgia.

The opening of the Consulate General of Georgia in Krakow, whose activities cover the provinces of Małopolska, Lubelskie, Podkarpackie, and Świętokrzyskie, is an important step in strengthening Georgian-Polish ties.
